The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior General Manager and Property Manager and will join a team that manages a mixed use, retail-park-transit center. Responsibilities involve a broad range of property management functions, including, but not limited to: budget preparation and execution; building operations; facility maintenance and repair; tenant relations and project management.
Provide world-class client support Assist with bid process of contracted services Prepare lease summaries of new tenants Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports Assist Property Manager in preparation of the annual budget and operating expense escalations Collect rent and handle minor accounts issues Monitor tenant relations Draft correspondence on various matters pertaining to property management Monitor maintenance work order system, coordinate with janitorial and engineering staff Prepare monthly report on status of work orders Assist with special projects under supervision of Property Manager Conduct routine property inspections Assist in answering tenant service calls
Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines or attend special events.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field Minimum of 2+ years of Commercial Real Estate experience California Real Estate License required Experience using JDE accounting software preferred Proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Office Successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects, professional, customer service oriented, and self-motivation. Possess leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills, in a collaborative team environment.
